Hey guys, I'm fairly new to web designing, and I was wandering how I would be able to create an effect whereby the site loads and instantly a small video clip plays by itself on an overlay of the site homepage (you can still see the site behind it but it'll be faded out), after which the video would close and the site would be pre loaded.

Within the modal html, embed your video player.

 

I would definitely avoid auto-play and make sure it's easy for people to close/skip.

Thanks, it now kinda works, it loads up on the site, but I have no idea how to close it, i've tried a few different codes but they all seem to close the window rather than the popup, any ideas?
