Do you love to argue, talk about tech, sports, politics,

religion, movies or anything else? If you do my new startup is perfect

for you. Argumatr is taking arguments and bringing them into the modern

age. Users can comment and agree or disagree with your argument. You

will get a great discussion and will have a fun time doing it.

 

How it works

 

1. You can post an argument and put into in any category you wish

2. People can vote on weather they agree or disagree with you

3. People comments can be given points and the comments with the most points rise to the top of the arguments.

4. After 48 hours and argument closes and side with the most points wins.

 

We just launched our public beta last night at beta.argumatr.com

and are looking for some beta testers and users to give us feedback on

the UI/UX, the general feel and how it works for you. Also, if you have

some feature ideas that would be great too!

 

I am the front end dev for argumatr and am looking for feedback on

anything from the site from general flow to any of the elements. The app

is fully responsive so check it out on your mobile!

I've had a peek, not signed up just looking through categories ... I see you're a Colts fan too

I do very much like the design and the idea itself is quite amusing too, I've not had a chance to actually join up and check it out but hopefully i will get the chance at some point.

The site looks great. It is a very interesting concept. It takes all those people who enjoy a good argument and gives them a place to go.

 

I could see some of the debates turning very "ugly", is it going to be a monitored site - or a free for all and if you are easily offended, don't join? Just curious, I could see it going either way, and if it is locked down after 48 hrs, at least it can't spin totally out of control.

 

I can't wait to see more of the arguments develop.

Maybe you could add some more social connections, login with G+, that sort of thing. I have not registered, is there a share feed system so that your site can be pushed out by members? Possibly use the Facebook likes, and G+'s to count in arguments if you could generate a for and against like/+ button to insert into the feed.

Thanks for the fomments. We needed fast form for the beta that wouldnt spam our inbox. Jotform is free and only took 5 minutes, they are on our list to change but they very rarely get seen so its not a top priority right now. Thanks!
