Hello everyone, I made a post before I came here though, it was asking some questions about what to start with and such.

You can see it here:

Just as the title suggests, I am a web designer looking to get more into the development side of this web stuff, I am struggling right now though, but hopefully not for too much longer! I'm willing to put the effort in and I have a little time to do so too :p

I look forward to using this forum and trying to help out other designers while I am working on learning the coding side of things :D

Nice to meet you! You will have now trouble getting started with HTML and CSS, it just takes practice and a bit of research.

Don't worry about HTML vs HTML5, at the moment all you need to know is that they have added more tags. For example <header> and <footer>

The best way to start learning HTML is to start writing basic stuff without worrying about the look and design, you can just see what the raw HTML looks like in the browser and how the CSS can style it up.

Great resource here http://www.htmldog.com/

Hello, I am also a graphic designer and have sowm experience in HTML coding and web interfacing. i hope you start learning soon because now just graphic designing is not enough. You need to learn how to integrate your created elements into the website as well. Lots of luck. For some advise on graphic designing go to logo design pros reviews and logo design pros complaints.
