February 15, 201313 yr The scenario is: You are a successful designer, combined developer at senior level and all is good and have been doing this for such and such amount of years, but at some point you are going to reach the 'cross roads' to take the next step up salarywise, and better yourself What other string to your bows have you aquired to make this step, or have you moved into a different career altogether?

Line Manager/Manager/CEO/Director?If you're looking to progress in your current company, you could inquire about future prospects there or at least express your interested in progressing further and see if it's something they can accommodate or work with you in getting there e.g. ...Why don't you do more of x or go on x courses...If you're looking to get up the ladder elsewhere, perhaps invest in a management course or look on job sites/research the more senior roles you're looking to move into see what skillsets/experience is needed for these roles and see if either you have them already/work on getting them!
