February 2, 201313 yr Hi folks, I'm in the process of setting up a site for several projects under my name at www.robinandrews.net. I want to put some info up about my maths tutoring work, and I'm thinking that people who go online looking for a local maths tutor probably won't be intersted in the rest of my projects - they just want info about tuition such as costs, location, qualifications etc. My question is, should I set up a subdomain, such as www.mathstuitiondevon.robinandrews.net, or have the info about maths as either pages on my main site, or a subdirectory such as www.robinandrews.net/mathstuitiondevon? If I have a subdirectory, do I then have a new index file so it acts like a separate website? (confused!) I'm concerned about both SEO and sensible structure/"branding." Any advice much appreciated. Robin
February 3, 201313 yr I'd just stick to having a subfolder and make sure there's a clear link to it in your home page. Anyone searching for the maths tutelage stuff is most likely to get linked directly to the relevant page anyway...
