December 13, 201213 yr Hey everyone! My name Josh, or more commonly known as Extro. I've ran a few web hosting companies before, including EchoHosting and ExtroHosting. I've been doing computer stuff from very young age. I would say around 11 I started actually programming, starting off with basic java game design and development. Then I moved onto web development and things like that later on. I am 16 years of age now, currently developing a Learning Management System with PHP. I run a couple servers in my home data centre, a 2U IBM server used mainly for Web serving, and the other for a fileserver for my movies and other stuff I download off the net. I am advanced in: HTML, CSS I am intermediate in: Java (probably be rusty havnt done it in ages) I am currently learning: PHP, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, jquery, ajax Will be nice too meet new people here, share ideas and help contribute to the forums. December 30, 201213 yr Welcome to the forums, mate. I, too have started computer stuff since I was 11, or maybe 10. When I was eleven, I started learning Actionscript 2, and made loads of games. I then wanted to help my father start a business, so I then learned PHP, mySQL, Javascript, HTML, and CSS. I never got the chance to learn Apache or Linux commands, though I do want to some day, but I am rather busy with my designing. When I was 13 years old, I got into web designing (Designing websites.) I found it more addicting than programming, so I have put my passion and heart into web design. I am now a web designer of my successful family business. Still learning, and still loving. Sounds like you got the love for programming. Looking forward for some service replies from yah Cheers!

January 4, 201313 yr Hi Josh, nice to meet you. I'm new to these forums too. I wish I had started doing computer stuff when I was younger and I guess I did do some computer stuff but I have to confess I am an old fart who didn't have internet growing up. Anyway, I am seriously impressed by your initiative. I wish I had that much energy! Haha.

I too started programming when I was about 10 or 11, C and C++ as well as HTML but had to give it up as I wasn't focussing on my academic studies but just recently got back into it (aged 20) but focussing more on Web Development rather than Software Engineering because I simply enjoy it more.
