I was wondering if someone could be so kind as to help me. I wanted to add a facebook like box to our website using the following code generator: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like-box/

 

However it comes up with a code called HTML5 which I wonder might be too advanced for my website which I edit in html using a notebook document: http://www.britishtutors.com/pages/hongkong.html

 

When I add the code it simply doesn't work! Can I change the code to work on my site or change my site to work with the code?

Your website isn't HTML5, so any HTML5 elements probably won't work, such as <nav> or <header> etc.

you've asked this before? When you 'get the code' on the Facebook page you can choose whether you want HTML, XFBML etc at the top of the popup box that it gives you.
