October 17, 201213 yr Not sure how many have seen this release by Google but I think it's a pretty big move and a pretty awesome tool. It's been in the pipeline for a long while and something that I'm sure has been requested many times over. Using Google's Webmaster, users can now upload a file that tells Google which links to discount and ultimately allows users so much more control over the links to their website. http://www.theregist...vow_links_tool/ You can now sculpt your backlinks and pretty much get out of penguin-****ed penalty's. PS I'll be writing a blog post about how to use three different tools to remove the worst links and how to pick which ones to remove I've written a quick blog post about how I'd use this, and a few other tools to remove the worst offenders http://www.jasondexter.co.uk/smash-penguin-in-the-face-with-googles-new-tool/

April 10, 201313 yr I'm surprised that Google counts bad links pointing towards your site, after all this is naturally going to happen no matter what kind of site you have, and is out of most peoples control. I wonder how much of an effect this has?
June 24, 201313 yr Google disavow tool is great to remove spam links generated, but be very careful when removing backlinks to a specific page.
