we would all love to have more i think...

There is shed loads of work out there. I myself, and a few others I liase with, are actually turning away work as we are booked up months in advance.

There are dozens of threads on here explaining what to do, hopw to market yourself etc etc.

It all boils down to whether or not you have a good business sense. You need to be able to market yourself (afterall, thats what you are selling!) in a variety of ways and to the most people. That can be digital advertising, print advertising, cards/flyers through doors, in shops, marketing packs, walking in to local businesses and actually talking to real people!!

As MikeJason said, approach some agencies. I was lucky and had two find me :)

The work is out there guys, if you arent busy you are doing something seriously wrong!

Do you think its better to advertise your services as a company or as an independent freelancer? Which do you find attracts more work?

I can only speak for myself but i get a lot more interest and work when i market myself as a single freelancer rather than a studio or bigger business.

The change was literately changing every instance of 'we' to 'i'.
