Which flavour of 'nux you using notbanksy?

Ubuntu 6.06 but I'm just about to install Ubuntu 8.04 Studio edition. Just need to backup my home folder and brace myself for potential disaster :)

How about you, Scott - you on 'nux too?

Not currently. Am using Micro$haft Vista.

But I wanna go back to 'nux. Much preferred it. Only reason am usin this is cos it came pre-installed on my laptop.

Is Ubuntu any good? I was using some variant of Suse. Wasn't too bad, but I don't think I'd go back to it.

I like ubuntu very much. It was hard for me at first and I needed to do a fair bit of reading up/ question asking on the forums, but it beats the hell out of windoze... You should definitely give it a try. Maybe dual bot if you're concerned about wiping windoze completely....

Looking forward to installing the new one though - need pdf writing support and Firefox 2 :)

I love the style I have quite a few of them, but this is the one that always ends up back as my wallpaper :)

My friend took this picture of me in the car going down to the BMWCC National Show - this is now my wallpaper :p

Am perfectly happy to wipe doze completely. Is just a case of finding a decent 'nux install.
