  1. If it was me, I'd change to wordpress. It makes on page SEO a LOT easier. Flash is a big no no if you ask me. I agree with the posters above. Finally, Once your on page SEO is sorted out, invest in high quality link building campaign. (Off page SEO) Hope that helps a little.
  2. If the site in question is a wordpress site, then the site will have individual page urls for each category, and sometimes even an individual page for tags. I find it is very common to have a lot more pages listed than individual posts or pages. Thanks
  3. How about building the website in advance for eg "Lincoln roofing contractor" (This is a random word off the top of my head, obviously do some keyword research to find out words that people are searching for.) Once you build the site, get it ranking on page one for that keyword term. It is a LOT easier to sell a site when it is already on page one, rather than selling a promise. Just an idea, hope that helps. If you are struggling to get your site ranking once it is built, feel free to ask me more questions. Cheers Alan
  4. I'm Alan Clark, I'm an experienced online marketer based in Scotland. I run a company called Midbrain Marketing. I am not a designer, I am more interested in using wordpress as a base for SEO. My areas of expertise lie in online marketing, social media, mobile marketing and link building rather than designing. However, I want to develop relationships with designers who can design wordpress themes from PSD. I have a degree gained from Napier University in Edinburgh in Graphic Communications Management. I understand that I need to post 25 times before I can post jobs or send direct messages. So for the time being all I will say is that I will try my best to be helpful and friendly. I will answer questions where time permits and once I have reached my 25 posts, I will let you know the SEO services I can offer you guys and your customers. I understand that web design is very different from online marketing and hopefully my skills will help compliment your skills and vice versa. Nice to meet you all, Alan Clark
