I need effective Traffic

Featured Replies

Hello Guys...

My site is getting 2000 to 2500 traffic every month, but problem is i m not getting inquiries. Its strange because i should receive 2 or 3 inquires every week.

Any Suggestion??

Thx

It sounds like your website isn't encouraging any business as you obviously have the potential customers, just not the figures to match! My advice would be to set up some analytics software like Google Analytics, Crazy Egg or Mint, and monitor how people get to and use your website. It should help you draw up a game plan of how to move content around or redesign the website to encourage more business.

no enquiries? as in email form enquiries?

If this is the case, inform your webhosting people as they may have anti-spam scripts in place that could be blocking email traffic to you (I have had this problem with a clients site fairly recently).

I agree with Rob...if people are coming to your site then you need to know what they are doing on your site, because if they are leaving within two seconds then chances are there is something wrong with the layout/design/functionality of your site. So the best way to do that is research into what they are doing on your site.

Also check into what karlosb has said, as it could be a simple as a contact form with the wrong email so you just aren't getting the requests.

I agree with what's been said.

IMHO your home page has too much text on it that's it's simply overwhelming people - too much keyword stuffing and not enough real content.

Youa lso could do with a contact form as well to make it easy for people to contact you.

Bluedreamer you should never write 'IMHO' - your opinions are always spot-on, so much so they should be considered facts!!!

Not surprisingly I'm going to 100% agree here (seeing as I make a living increasing site's conversion rates) and can't stress strongly enough the importance of quality content over SEO - it's better to get a 100% response from 10 visitors than 0% from 10,000.

Getting visitors is only the start - it's converting them into customers where the work really starts. That's not to say SEO isn't important, of course it is, but you have to concentrate on what happens once those visitors land on your site.

yep that site is spam city...as wizley says rewrite the content.

personally if i was looking for outsourcing (i wouldn't be but lets say i was)...i wouldn't trust your company based on the copy for one second. harsh but true.

:flm7:

Just had a look at the content (thanks Eggman!) and Bluedreamer, Headcoat and Eggman are right - it's very spammy.

I advocate (oh yes Headcoat - check out the verbosity!) an organic approach to SEO that weaves keywords into the fabric of your text and then using vivid, active prose to bring it to life. It's especially important with an outsourcing company to engender trust and convey personality.

As Eggman has pointed-out, the 'spammy' approach to SEO you're currently taking isn't working. You're also trying to hit 'outsourcing' as a keyword - that will never pay-off as there are some huge multinationals out there who'll have that well and truly covered.

Normally I would give more specific advice but (in the nicest way possible!) - you need quite an overhaul. Consider looking for an experienced copywriter/editor that offers "Organic SEO copy-editing".

Try putting the following (including the quotes) into Google and choose an editor from the results:

"Organic SEO copy-editing"

Funny and egotistical but none-the-less a memorable lesson on focussed SEO, targeted marketing and getting pre-qualified traffic?

lol... old habits die hard, point taken though

Whoops, does LOL count?

Fill your boots with 'board' talk - just remember you're a Web Guru! May I suggest you create a new piece of lingo:

'IMGLO' - 'In My God-Like Opinion'!!!!
