October 17, 201114 yr Hi I have a client who uses a blackberry and when she views her site there are a couple of things wrong with the layout. Now as no one in my office owns a blackberry so seeing if the changes done to the code fix the issues is quite hard as the only way to check is to email them and for them to check and email back and when it doesn't work try something else. So this is a longshot but I was wondering if there was any sort of tool like browsershot where I can get a grab of how the site is displaying so I don't have to keep asking the client to check it while I'm trying to fix it.
October 17, 201114 yr Author Thanks not to push my luck but does anyone know if there are any that don't require me to give details such as my company & phone number before I can try it out?
October 17, 201114 yr No idea but ask the client to install : http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/11567 and send you the screen shot
October 17, 201114 yr Author I've seen how it looks, its odd as all the links in the main nav are just stacked ontop of each other, yet it works perfectly in every other browser/phone that its been tested on, just this stupid blackberry. So really its just trying different things until one of them works and I didn't want to keep asking her every time I try something to see if that worked If I can't find any other way of viewing the site I'll give the link that you have posted a try tomorrow. Thanks again for your help
October 17, 201114 yr I can see the problem there - she's using a Blackberry. Try one of the simulators.
October 17, 201114 yr Usually all sites kinda work ok with blackberry But it is hugely dependent on the model of the BB and the browser version installed on it. Btw it would have helped if you posted a link to the site itself. I would have checked it for you
