May 18, 201115 yr My girlfriend recently started with weigh****chers and has to work out how many points are in whatever she wants to eat. They gave her a paper wheel thing to work it out but it was tedius and left her to do a lot of the calculations herself. SO! I coded a calculator for her. It uses javascript to do the work (jQuery). May 18, 201115 yr OT but has your girlfriend tried myfitnesspal? Its an online calorie tracker thats got an iphone/android/bb app. I use it to monitor protein intake.

May 18, 201115 yr weighw**tchers - you will lose pounds just for the privilege of using their system. However they gloss it up to make money, it's going to be calorie/nutrition based. They just create a points system to hide this. myfitnesspal is free and works perfectly.

It's more about the support she gets from the other people in her group and the woman who runs it etc. Some people struggle to keep at it on their own and the support alone is worth what they charge.
