hi

please let me know what i can do to improve my site to make it perfect

www.keithadamsphotography.co.uk

thanks

I really like it nice clean layout but none of the links are working well atleast not for me anyways

I like the site,

the portfolios are nice and it's got a clean layout, the things I would change are,

hover-states needed on the links

Header text in the top left is a bit dark for me, not easy to read straight away

form labels are too dark on the contact page - difficult to read.

stevo

Site looks good try and type the content rather than using images for the text it will search better

It was just what I expected - a "typical" photographers site :)

Why is it that photographers go for image only sites without a scrap of useful information, usability or accessibility?

I found the "text" very hard to read... it's centered, all capital letters and squashed up

Your Portfolio link goes to the home page, for usability sake link it to your Portfolio page

The contact form label text is black on dark grey and impossible to read. In fact the contact forn looks like an afterthought rather than part of the site, and you are missing important <label> tags.

Nowhere on site does it actually say what you do, I know you're a photographer but what sector do you specialise in, corporate? marketing? weddings/funerals/barmitzvas?

To improve things;

Use proper text for text, not images

Add a proper Portfolio page

Use useful page titles

Add a physical address, phone number and email address so people can make enquiries

Add some case studies or something similar to let folks know what you do

Whoaa Bluedreamer, tell it how it is.....but your post is right on the nose!!

Rather than chopping up a graphic and making them into pages, I would make it more search engine friendly. All your text is graphical. Not only is that a problem for search engines, if the site needs updating theres a lot more faffing involved. Nothing changed colour -linkwise- when you hover over it. Doesn't really feel like I'm interacting. more like clicking on a pdf or something. Your weddings page text is squished and not good, maybe the image is the wrong size, or you have resized it?

Now, you see I like this, it's appealing, nice use of dark colours to enhance the photography,

Just a shame that all the images are on screen and there is a ton of on screen styling.
