February 5, 200917 yr I just launched a new site for my client http://alnwickweddingcars.co.uk/ take a look Mike
February 5, 200917 yr For me there's no difference between a wedding car and a hearse - both take you to the church the day your life ends! It's a nice clean design with some 'classical' touches but not over-done (which would look tacky) and good use of nice vivid photos, white space and soft fades - just right for a wedding website. Got to say point the client in my direction for copy to match! That's what lets it down big time (I presume and hope you didn't write it!).
February 5, 200917 yr Very nice website.Really feels classy and stylish. The only thing I don't really like is the top navigation hover effect but overall it's an excellent website . Also the copyright still shows 2008...

Haha nope I know my limitations and I usually find the clients want to write their own copy, but hey I'll keep you in mind if I get a request ;-) Mike

February 5, 200917 yr Just a quick note, both the www, and non-www versions are available. This is going to hurt your Search Engine Rankings, as it will get treated as duplicate content. I'd advise using a 301 redirect to point one to the other. Very nice looking site
February 5, 200917 yr Its very nice, I like the way although you have used a serif font by using it all in caps it is still legible but adds charactor. i like the flash to white in the slide show, clean and crisp... purity. nice
February 6, 200917 yr Very nice and clean looking website. I have a couple of comments/suggestions though. First, why are the top margins to the page so low; Would it be problem to shift the website up a bit? Also, I think it would look better if you added a slight drop shadow(opacity=20% or something) to the top and bottom of the tiled background area. I could be wrong, but the way the tiled background cuts off to white is bothering me for some strange reason. That's about it. Your coding, also, is as beautiful as your website.
February 6, 200917 yr i guess the others have already told you what needs to be than to improve your website.. it's already nice do.. do these suggestions and it would be soon perfect.. since this is a car services site then you should have added some photos of the cars.. try pleasing images of the card in all of its angle so your clients will have an immediate idea which car they like and what design will they apply to it.. Best wishes!!

Best wishes!! As is usually the case the client wanted to do the photography himself although he doesn't really had a pro eye, I suspect we will have to wait until later in th eyear so we can get some good shots in the sun so I think thats going to have to wait for a while to get sorted. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions and positive feedback I've got anew site to begin soon so I'll post that when its nearing approval and see what you guys think . Mike
