Do you think it go against w3c standards? Mike

Hi All I'll like your views on what, if any, the practice of floating all divs and spans left by default, would have with regards to browser compatibility? A colleague claims its the way forward but I'm not convinced, what do you think? Mike

Its not bad matey! some popular widths are 740px (old not used as much) 800px (still see this in use) and 960px and of course some just take the whole browser. Mike

Well you can do a trick I learned where you use CSS to put text in the same page div and set it text-indent to something like -9000em like so: <div style="text-indent: -9000em"> <p>some text about your picture or the product</p> <img src="your picture.jpg"> </div> The picture will show but you wont see the text, however, when google comes along it will only see your text as it doesn't take any notice of the CSS Mike

As is usually the case the client wanted to do the photography himself although he doesn't really had a pro eye, I suspect we will have to wait until later in th eyear so we can get some good shots in the sun so I think thats going to have to wait for a while to get sorted. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions and positive feedback I've got anew site to begin soon so I'll post that when its nearing approval and see what you guys think . Mike

Over all its a nice clean, comfortable design. I would stress the point of having so text based content on there too as google and other search engines will rank you better. But overall I think you've done a great job Mike
