  1. Experiencing it for someday but a friend told me it is already fixed but I don't know yet.
  2. I think it will always depend on the user what browser does he/she prefer. But for me I like using Firefox than IE.
  3. Guys your advice are really helpful. Anyways learning Web Design is really a great thing to learn.
  4. @katherinej I think that site will help those who want to learn more in web designing but I would prefer having books to learn, anyways thanks for suggesting the site being reading the site.
  5. check this site.. http://www.java-scripts.net/javascripts/Ri...ick-Block.phtml try to apply the right click block javascript.
  6. I guess that's your passion and that's you life.. so as long as you can move your fingers and as long as you can see and think, you can't just stop working.. lol. stop wondering and live with it.. haha.
  7. i thought of it too.. how come a web design site doesn't know hoe to embed flash movie on its site.. sounds odd.. anyway, publish your flash file and use dreamweaver.. it is much more easier than coding.
  8. hello! just a piece of idea, your page has too much spacing.. try to add more contents to maximize your page..
  9. I can hardly choose from the three.. all of it are great..I think I like the second one.. the lay-out is very nice.. but I also like the color combo of the first one.. its cool.
  10. I think the font is ok.. anyway the target audience is from ages 45 and above.
  11. you also add hit counters. this will give you and your viewers the no. of site visits.
  12. hi john! just a constructive opinion. but i guess i agree with Traxor. I don't find the two lay-outs effective for a business site for pc advanced users. both of the two lay-outs look dull and more fits for a personal blog site. Try to add some dynamics.. i think you can do better than this..
  13. hello there! its so sweet of you to design a website for your wife. As of the design, i think Traxor did a very good suggestion of what are the things to be done to make it a lot better. Your wife is an artist so it is expected that her website showcas plenty of artistic touch. Aside from the design, make sure that the name of your website or the title is search engine friendly. Remember that your main goal is to help you wife sell her artworks. Try to use some keywords, ex. Sarah's Art, or something like that. If you do this, your wife's website will be easily searched by people interested in artworks.
  14. I agree with MikeHIbbert.. Your site is good. So optimize it. Just try to use some formal font.. your site is already nice. you don't need to use a bit exaggerated fonts. You’ve done great! Doesn’t look that it was done by an amateur actually.
  15. Dreamweaver is much easier i guess..
  16. i guess the others have already told you what needs to be than to improve your website.. it's already nice do.. do these suggestions and it would be soon perfect.. since this is a car services site then you should have added some photos of the cars.. try pleasing images of the card in all of its angle so your clients will have an immediate idea which car they like and what design will they apply to it.. Best wishes!!
  17. Hi! Congratulations for your new website.. Don’t be upset about the comments.. It’s understandable that you came up with such design because as you’ve said this is your first. I viewed your site and read about your services as well… If you wish to offer website design, then you should come up with a very well presented company website to attract and convince the customer to trust your services. Your website as a whole is totally not inviting. It’s gloomy, it doesn’t have effects, and it’s even not simple. Your color combination is sooo dead. You should have at least played with some lively colors. If you’re really into black or gray background then you should have used text color that is contrasting but not way overboard. The cyan text is way too flashy.. Your header is too dull. It’s your site that you’re promoting so you should have added some effects of play more with it. You’re navigation tool is ok though. Highlight your headers and it would be much of an improvement if you put some logos or images. Try to observe some good websites so you can understand what I am saying.. Good luck!
  18. do you have idea why they don't actually do that? like in social websites, its annoying to have a background that keeps on repeating. And we cant just trash some of the features just to eliminate such.
