No lightbox is not what I need, I already use something similar to that, I want the decription right there on the page not seen after you click, and some of the images will be UNclickable.

I am using IE7 - went to the website, downloaded the plug-in, clicked on a few browsers to see how it worked, then after words my normal browser IE7 started acting sluggish, it wouldn't pick up favicons anymore, and some sites contecnt would,t display. After I uninstalled the plug-in everything went back to normal.

Chris - I tried this site out, and the plug-in titally started screwing up my browser functionability, if anyone is going to use this be careful!!

BOCAJ!! You are so freaking smart!! That is what I did, I was tweaking the floats, and made them center instead of left and forgot all about it!! LOL!!! Totally fixed!! That is why I love this place, after a week of pulling my hair out I always know some here will know what I did wrong!! LOL!!!

Ok in IE it looks all nice and neat and orderly, (3 sections acrosss, all with links, then the next set of 3 and so on and so forth) BUT FF isn't doing that and at the sections are running together and the bottom is off an the footer is now screwed up!

Hi all!! I know I have been gone for while, had family and work stuff to take care of. Hopefully now I can get back to work re-building my website. I started working on a page on it the other day and evrything was going fine until yeserday! ARGH! It looked fine in bothe IE and FF and now FF isn't displaying it correctly, maybe one of y'all can look at it and the source code and tell me the mistake?? PUH-LEEEES!!!! Charlie, your menu is still changing an dgoing offset once you start clicking the Setup link and any link after that.

No, no zoom increase. all default settings and everything normal - your list menus and text run out of of your boxes.

Nice design tho very dark. Unfortunately the content is all garbled both in IE and ff, exapmle, the menu bar is in the center of the browser on both instead of under the headr/logo.

Very good start Charlie - well done! One thing, the menu on the setup page moves alignment in IE, not ff or others just IE. Also your copy about yourself, needs some tweaking. ie. below - My name is Charlie Bob Gordon. I live in England, UK. I am 13 years old and I'm currently in Year 9. My interests include a variety of computer related subjects. Web design, Graphic design, Photography, Instant messaging, video editing, and Tweeting. Obviously every so often I like to go out in town with some mates and have a laugh! I recently bought myself a new computer and its an Apple iMac, I love it to bits. It features 2.66GHz Processor with 4 GB of RAM, 320 GB Hard Drive, and a comfy ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO with 256 MB video RAM. My favourite colour is orange, I tend to use this colour scheme a lot (the dark red, and orange) as I really like it, its all warm and cosy! Last but NEVER least, I really love drinking Coke, I love it its just so damn tasty.

Looks really good - simple but good. One thing tho, I would add a mrgin to the top and bottom, so it does not touch the edges to the browser. On some pages your content is sparse so the bottom o fthe container does not touch the bottom of the browser but the top does - and on other pages your content pushes the container bottom to the bottom of the browser and both top and bottom touch, make it uniform by adding a margin - that way it doesn't look so odd when going from a sparse content page to a full page.

Looks great in all the non-IE browsers, still having that issue in IE with your pages tho

I agree with Traxor, but be careful on this point. If you are not going to make a graphic for the header and use actual text, then you need to use fonts common to all systems. Too many designers think "oh this font looks cool" but when the site is viewed by the average user they generally don't have that font on their computer and the site looks totally different to them, loosing the effect the website builder had intended. Now if you decide to make a graphic for the header, use whatever font that is legible and strikes your fancy!

They all look good, but you may want to check and see what they look like in ALL browsers, in IE the main site sections "current Skills" & "currently developing" menus go past the bottom of the block. Otherwise they look good, OH an dthe site with sound, cut the volume by half and make it so the user can TURN IT OFF! Very irratating to go to a website and be inundated with sound.

Looks really awesome now! The load time varies, abd also depnds on the browser used. In IE it takes about 6-10 secs to load where as in FF it takes about 2-3 secs ??? Same thing with my site it will load faste in FF than IE!! LOL!!
