Hey Bocaj, any thoughts?? If it isn't doable, I think I could get by with putting the production number in the thumbnails.
  2. Thanks Iris! I am not too sure by what you mean for script/functions - do you have an example I could look at??
  3. LOL!!! First "iris" is a boy and now "dizi" is a girl, and I thought I was confused! LOL!!!
  4. Nice! now as for your text - Change to - Hello, I'm Adam Hunt , a 19 year old student from Kent, currently studying Interactive Media Productions at Bournemouth University. This site is a showcase of my own work and university projects. I design websites that are clean and stylish for all sort of people and businesses. As well as design, I love music, football, and spending time with the people I love. If you wish to contact me please fill in the form below. Just because it is the web doesn't mean we can loose all sense of reason! LOL!!!!!
  5. I have never heard of them I don't really follow NBA but in keeping with the theme, the Cowboys are the most popular Texas NFL Team, as the Mavericks are the most popular NBA team in Texas.
  6. I hate dark sites, but I actually like this one! It is fresh and eye catching! The pink could do with a toss, and maybe replaced with a light blue or teal, and the link of your pic needs to go as it really does not link to anything but a thumbnail, too weird. Otherwise a very good site!
  7. Very good Joel! Who are the Spurs? I would go with teh Mavericks - they are much better known.
  8. One more thing Joel, I was looking it over again, and saw a couple other things I would change to make it authentic. Change "Make a Booking" to "Reservations" - we don't say "make a booking" and the average person in the US doesn't say "make a booking" for a restaurant, that sounds more like a trip or event. Also the address, our addresses are different than yours, our address format is street address, city, state, zip code - so the address for this place would be 123 Anywhere St. San Antonio, Texas. 78201 Oh and here is a Texas Steak
  9. That is really nice!! I like the layout and the color, really catches your eye! Just one thing - change "Sounds good?" to "Sound good?"
  10. Nice layout, too dark, fees are way too expensive.

Hey Bocaj, if you goto this page http://www.pvcblue.com/news.htm that is one of the pages I am currently using lightbox with, and I want to do the same thing with the collection pics only withe each piece's production number under it.

I am getting ready to start doing my collection pages part of my website (now that the layout for the rest is done) and was wondering, are tables ok? Right now I have a page that has a lightbox gallery on it, and I want to do the same for the collection pics, only under each pic I want a text label, so I figured I was going to have to use tables to do this, yes? If not then how??
  13. Ok has anyone seen Iris, I am waiting for him to come back and re-review me! LOL!! Also where the heck is Dizi?? I thought he would have posted here by now.
  14. No it isn't too sterotypical, now if you had a guy in a cowboy hat saying "come on down Y'all" that might do it! LOL!! As for the sports teams, use the Cowboys, but change the other to the Oilers. Oh an dthe best steakhouses are either in Dallas(preferably) or Houston, not San Antonio.
  15. True true, the link on the forum back to the site in the footer opens in the same window, but the banner link opens in a new window, only because the members don't want to be directed away from the forum.
  16. Hello - this is just my opinion - the layout is too tight for me, I feel closed in, the colors, well there aren't any it's just too dark, the white text on dark background is hard on the eyes. Some of the content spills out of its container, like the Google search. Also the site running completely to the edge of the top and bottom makes me feel like something is cut-off and not being seen.
  17. Thanks Scott!! Now, where is Iris?? I go make all these changes based on his recommendations and he doesn't even check back? LOL!!! Oh and here is a question, the link for my forum, should I have it open in the same window or a separate tab?? I can't decide! LOL!!!
  18. Nice start, widen the containing field, make the menu one line instead of 2 lines, ditch the logo and make a better one for them.
  19. Ok - first let me say it is a very nice design. That said, and being in Texas I have to say this - they would never put "most juciest" that is just bad english even for Texas. just say "juciest" they would never use "all of the LoneStar State" it would just be "the LoneStar State" most importantly, it would not be called a "Texan Steakhouse", it would correctly be termed a "Texas Steakhouse" also - that is a nice picture on the front, but that is NOT a Texas steak, too skinny and no baked potatoe or fried okra! Hope this helps.
  20. Ay yi yi yi!! All that just to get a little bit of code! LOL!!! But take a look - I think it fits better now!
  21. Hello - the problem is that no browser will render a page and fonts exactly like the other browser. I have 4 on my computer, IE - Opera - Safari and Firefox - of the 4 firefox renders the fonts the worse, if you look at the other 3 the fonts look smoother and when told to be bold look bold etc, on firefox they look ruff, too skinny and unless made very big don't look bold.
  22. Appreciate the help Scoott, I added it to the code but it didn't change anything? Oh I was able to re-download my Movavi Converter program.

Well I am with you on that one as well!! At least with XP it happens less often, and on my husband's mac it never happens! LOL!!
  24. Yeah but it is all about the blue!!!
  25. pvcblue replied to pvcblue's topic in Frontend
Oh yeah thatis a option, it just irritates me that they are packaegs along with something and if you are not careful it gets installed because it is usually preselected to install. If I want something I will get it on my own and CHOOSE to use it, it's the cramming it down my throat I dislike!
