How to increase rank?
When I am confronted with these questions, I turn to a host of free online auditing tools that help to point me in the right direction. Using auditing tools is helpful because you can audit your website before and then after you make the change to see the result. A recent tool I came across was http://improvemywebsite.com.au/ . This site lets you get a free audit of your website and the rankings around it. This was just a recent one I hadn't seen before. Another tool I use is www.mysiteauditor.com . And since this is a UK forum, I better mention a UK tool that I use - www.found.co.uk/seo-tool/ is quite good.

What do I learn for drag and drop population of databases?
Hi Doeth, I believe that any CMS or PHP framework would be able to cater for this project. CMSs are more of a "back end" storage system for information and files. By the sound of what you want to achieve, the "make or break" part of this system will be the user drag and drop interface. This is irrelevant of the CMS and will need to be custom programmed by a "front end" user interface expert who knows CSS and Jquery. Front end technologies that could be used to achieve this include : Jquery, Ajax, Angular JS, HTML Canvass. I'd recommend posting a scope of what you want done on a freelancing website to someone with these skills.

Kind of a stupid question...
I would load the website onto a subdomain for the client to preview the website as a temporary testing area. Once the client has approved the website to go live, I would move the live website files into a folder and upload the new fields from the subdomain to the live hosting environment.
