E-Commerce Options
One of the best options for you is to go for a portfolio site platform that allows you social media and ecommerce integration. There are many out there, but having tried and tested quite a few, I can recommend Pixpa. A simple, minimalist platform that enables designers to showcase, share and sell their work with style and simplicity. I had my portfolio ready in a matter of days. Photomoto is an ecommerce application which comes with most of the portfolio building platforms that you can look into.

I think using a convenient CMS platform that allows you to create your portfolio website in HTML. Your features in HTML are easily tracked by search engine crawlers. All flash sites are moving towards HTML.

Hi all need a bit of help and advice been ripped off!
Sorry to hear about what happened ! Have you tried looking up the person who you are in contact with on Facebook, Myspace, LinkedIn or Google Plus ? I am sure he would have an account on any one of them. If you are able to trace him them definitely send a stern message saying that you file a lawsuit or duping case. If you cant find him then, look for he company name and do the same. If your looking to build a portfolio website then you have plenty of do-it-yourself options out there and you can try them. Forget about freelancers, try spaces like Pixpa, Viewbook, Squarespace or Behance.

Hello Everyone
Don't worry, rejection is quite common in the creative field. People learn through trial and error and some times your best work can be turned down. You have to keep in mind that passion is very important in this field. You can learn basic softwares on your own sitting online and rest on the job. So there is no need to give up!

New and willing to learn
I think Adobe Dreamweaver is good to begin with. As you progress further you will have to get more familiar with Coral Draw and Photoshop.

Google+ on the rise
I think Google plus is definitely has a more professional appeal than Facebook. It has some more unique features like hangouts and I have found a better professional network of designers, photographers here. But in terms of popularity it still behind Facebook.

Possible to get 1000 likes in less than a week?
I think it is a bit unrealistic and more of a marketing gimmick. I suggest you look for more organic options of increasing your followers. The problem is that even FB will not guarantee you 100 percent success with this and out of the total people who have liked your page how many are random likes and how many are actually cued in to your comments !
