How's this looking?
For a first site, and use of notepad, it's pretty damn good to be honest! Neat and tidy, good choice of colours too. Havent looked too closely at the markup or css yet so can't comment on that....

Incorporation or Sole Proprietorship for a web design company?
Not sure many of us here will be able to offer any support on running a business in a foreign country as we are a UK based forum and have different regulations etc etc

charging clients for hosting & domains
Who is charging £10 a year for hosting then?
-
charging clients for hosting & domains
Not sure you got what I meant, what I meant was say the domain was a .co.uk and priced at £10 for 2 years, would you charge £5 per year in with the annual hosting or just bill seperately at £10 every 2 years?

charging clients for hosting & domains
Ok, so what does everybody do in regards to charging clients for hosting and domains. Charge once a year for hosting and include the yearly price of the domain or just charge once a year for hosting and then bill them seperately as and when domains become due for renewal??

to subdomain or not to subdomain

to subdomain or not to subdomain
Ok, so the question is are subdomains better for seo than, say, folders. EG, I have a site dedicated to flowers and want a seperate page for each flower, so what would be best and what would stand more chance of ranking higher..... pansies.flowersforall.com or flowersforall/pansies/ (neither oif which are mine btw) Any suggestions?

Number 3 is good. The identifier is a little "firefox" like , which is pretty cool. Maybe have the identifier first with the text after, all inline??

multiple domains pointing to 1 site
Pretty sure Heart are cheaper (albeit by about 20p per year lol) and tbh I have always used Heart. Sure there will be many other things, think I have taken on a bit too much what with having a full time day job, wife, 2 kids AND web site design at night :\

multiple domains pointing to 1 site
Probably been asked a million times before but let's make it 1,000,001 If a client purchases, say, the .com, .co, .co.uk, .biz etc etc is it ok to point all these towards just the one website or is a bit of a no no? I ask because my client wants to snap up all available domains and have them pointing towards his website (even the odd misspelt one).

Adding new content
Thanks for your replies. Whilst I see your point (to a certain extent) are you telling me that it isnt good business sense for a company to have seperate pages optimised for localised searches?

Reseller Hosting: Need some Info.
Have been with Heart for a few years now and am more than happy with them. I am not big enough to warrant my own servers (yet) and Hearts features are just about perfect for my clients. Have never had any issues with slow servers or downtime and as mentioned before, their tech dept is superb.

Adding new content
Hi, new here so please be gentle I have been designing websites on and off for a few years and always manage to (somehow) get them to achieve good, solid consistent rankings in the major search engines. However, I have a site I am working on at the moment where a client is going to want a lot of pages all with very similar content (one or 2 words changed). For arguments sake let's say the website is about racoons(?). Now this client wants to have a seperate page for each major town and city in a certain county, i.e racoons brighton, racoons eastbourne, racoons hastings etc etc. Will google look at this as duplicate content and not bother indexing certain pages? Or could google and co possibly even penalise the site in some other way? I understand why the client wants seperate pages targeting each city and am quite happy to go ahead with it but just wondering if there would be any major cons...... ta
