    Hey Mark,

    the font is called: Harabara
    http://www.dafont.com/harabara.font

It has been greatly overused in my opinion though, the last couple of years I've seen at least 300+ logo's and a countless amount of websites using it.

plus the tracking is awful, you can only use it If you're planning on tracking/kerning It yourself.

    Hope this helped

Although it looks cool I would personally steer clear of theappl.es simply because it would be too difficult to tell people about.

What about something like mixedolives.co.uk or mixedpeppers.co.uk you could use red peppers for gaming yellow peppers for music and green peppers for film.

Very much a work in progress. Colours are subject to change - but i'm liking the minimal/clean look at the moment. All text is filler text too.

I don't think it's a problem with your font choice.. Because when I ran the inspect element tool over it, it seemed your 'reset' css rules (font: inherit;) were overwriting your general style rules. No idea why that will happen though..

    Blimey.

Please tell me you're not actually serious about being web designers? With a site in such a state as this?

No doctype, no meta tags/descriptions (despite offering SEO packages?!), tables, spacer gifs .. the list could be endless.

It's a mess, and if you can't even code up your own site properly, then I feel for any potential clients you may have. Nowhere near the standard anyone would expect.

Sorry for the harsh tone. But the old saying of "cruel to be kind" comes to mind.

In short - Yes it would.

Wordpress in it's basic form is a blogging platform (of course, it can be tailored for much more than that), but from previous experience, Wordpress is extremely easy to grasp from a bloggers point of view. They log in, add a new post, type out their content and hit publish. Thats it.

How that content is displayed, however, would be down you my friend. If you're a bit dubious about taking the plunge, then a simple Google search should give you a good footing to progress.

Take it from me, creating themes for Wordpress is a lot easier than it first appears. If it's your first time dabbling with the platform, perhaps you could download a pre-existing theme and modify it. This way you'll learn the basics of the loop, and how to manipulate it for your own needs.

    Hi Mark,

    Looks good.

    Some remarks:

    1. Small issues with page elements alignment.
    2. I'd make these vertical paddings of the same size – for a better visual balance.
    3. I guess it would be better if these icons were clickable (and :hover-able) too.

Header looks bigger than block with thumbnails of the works you have done. What infomation is more important, of course, you should know better.

    Hope that can help.

I like the circle with the m but the font for mark does not connect. It´s to straight if you know what I mean.
However I like the idea with "made by". Looks like a guaranty :-)

I'm wondering if there may be just too much going on?

If it was me, I'd just have the 'M in the circle' as the logo without the made by Mark OR just the 'made by Mark' and ditch the 'M in the circle' (especially if the site is going to be minimal)

Sometimes it's easier to make a decision when you can see the graphic in context with the rest of the site..

Three diffrent fonts? Not really a great idea if I'm honest.

You're also using harabrara, which is a horrible font. Ditch the "made by", make the uppercase M lowercase, and make the "Mark" font something much more conventional and simple.

Make the black circle bigger, remove the drop shadow and add a black border over the white and put "made by mark" below the M in a different font, block captial or lowercase.

    My 3p.
