Business Cards
I agree, I would prefer the second. And yes, they may need some help as far as being better for print. But they're nice. Good job. Logan Overdrive

Web & Graphic Design Company - Branding
I think we're deciding just to go along with #1 or #2, and stick with the original look. Mason (my partner) mentioned he doesn't really care for the look of #3, and he likes #4 but not as much as the originals. Thank you all so much on your feedback, you're all extremely awesome people. We'll be posting mock-up JPEGs of our upcoming site for review soon. So I really hope you all will come check that out when it's up. Thank you all again. So much. Logan Overdrive

Hmmm, I'm not too sure what to do at this point. I like the uniqueness/originality (because of the cut circle and passing through the flame) of the original #1 & #2. But I also like the equal dimensions of #3, and it would be easy to brand projects or work with #3. The only downside to #3 though, is that it doesn't seem as original and almost seems overused. #4 has an added depth to it though, which I like, but if it were to be flattened and printed in one color for whatever reason, then it'd seem somewhat cramped and kind of dull. And everyone seems to like different things haha. Not sure where to go. Logan Overdrive

Alright, here is an update trying out some of your ideas. (If I understood them all correctly.) [1] Original Version (w/Second Strapline Font) [2] Lev's Idea - Repositioning (Also with redoing proportions) [3] Mrchristoph's Idea - Flame inside circle (Not sure if I understood this correctly though) [4] Neil0wen's Idea - Flame on top of full circle Thank you all! Let me know what you think. Logan Overdrive (P.S. If I missed someone's suggestion, please let me know and I'll throw it up here.)

New to web designing...
I'm not sure about the books you're talking about. But I'd definitely suggest reading up on many online articles on sites such as Smashing Magazine, Web Designer Depot, and Go Mediazine. Great places to learn so much about Web Design.

your competitors
There's about four or five competitors for us, most produce great work, but charge literally 2-4x as much as we do. Some work, we can could do better (just to be honest) but we're just not as large yet to get the work. The sad thing is when other companies do a sorry job, but get away with charging so much. Unfortunately, most of the time, we have to take very cheap jobs. We're trying to get out there, but it's kind of a hard situation.

I've considered that, and actually tried it, but we're also branching out into flash/action/interactive media/photography etc. So we've been trying to just focus mainly on us being "Overdrive". Thanks for your feedback so much though. I'll be posting a new topic for feedback on our website as we get further. I'll definitely let you know when we do that!

New here
I'm new also, but I've discovered it's a great place to get feedback on your work. I'd definitely suggest trying that in the Website Reviews and Feedback forum.

Web & Graphic Design Company - Branding
I'm not sure that we were really aiming to make it link to Web Design, just something to brand ourselves professionally and uniquely. If you have any ideas as to how to link it to web design, definitely let me know though please. Thank you!

How do you feel it's disproportioned lee grant? Like, too wide, too thin, or what? Do you all think the ampersand in the second version works well?
