Loading content general question
Remember to test with javascript/jQuery disabled. Can users see all your content? If not, you can do the same with PHP case "this" case "that" which may be safer.

CSS Reset
Yes, I realise that. You said and means I can just simply add any styling if i need it further down the line but you can achieve the same result by starting with the size you want for a p, h or li tag and bypassing the 0 stage and it will still make all browsers the same with what you have styled (as long as you remember to style all tags). But I'm quibbling. It only saves a tiny bit of code. Meyer's reset is a "fail safe" covering virtually everything, including elements you probably never use, and then you have to put in styles to vary the 0 that Meyer has set. I've used Meyer's reset but now adapt it a little.

CSS Reset
I'm not a fan of massive resets either. I can't see the point of setting lots of tags to 0 for margin, padding, borders, etc. and then setting margin, padding, borders, etc. for each tag to the sizes you want, especially for p and h tags. It's simpler to bypass the 0 stage and do it in one style for each tag.

How do I add an email submit form on my website?
Most free form generators use PHP. Sending emails from a web form through a browser needs a server, which would mean installing WampServer2 or XAMPP both of which have Apache server so that you can process PHP locally and then to send an email you have to edit the .htaccess file in WampServer or XAMPP, which is quite a lot of work. You can send an email without using PHP with a simple form but there's a big risk that you will get spammed. See http://www.wickham43.net/forms.php for a very simple form that doesn't need PHP and will send from your local file in a browser but it has no security features. To use the simple form every user needs an email client on the computer like Outlook, which may not be the case if the user always uses web mail, and a user can't use the form from an internet cafe, so the simple email form isn't recommended.

[CSS] Vertical centering image
A background-image in the body style can be centered as shown in this tutorial:- http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_background-position.asp Does that help?

How do I add an email submit form on my website?
It's probably safer to Google for a free web form generator and edit it as it will have security anti-spam features built in. Here's one (not used by me):- http://www.emailmeform.com/

Distance between 2 GPS points via sea
If you use GPS coordinates, then as everybody says, you get a straight line. If it was for places on land you might somehow use place names (nearest towns) and then use a sat nav website which uses road miles. For shipping, could you set up four points in the sea north, south, east and west of the UK and then use straight line calcs between them for a start? Set up calcs for 1 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 4, 4 to 1 and save, then use code to work out the nearest marker to the start GPS, then the final GPS from the nearest marker, then add all the distances. I won't try to do it.

css footer higher than the text problem
Look at the source code of your online page. You've got a doctype, <html> </html> <head> </head> <body> and </body> tags scattered around all over the place. It's probably because your PHP include files had them so they've repeated in the final code. Include files should only have the basic markup. Sort those out first so you only have one of each.

Items displaying out of line in IE6 and IE7
Look at my first post #6 I tested in IE7, IE9 and Firefox and it seemed OK (without any IE stylesheets in conditional comments).

My left colum shows images and text way down low on certain browsers
The validator raised the errors I mentioned and also that you haven't inserted alt="..." in every img tag, like this:- <img src="images/Dave_with_adder_Surrey.jpg" alt="your image description" /> The alt is relatively unimportant, but the other errors concerning the " are important. Copy your html page code into Notepad and look at the " wherever it occurs. In your present source file the " appears as sloping, which is often the result of using Word as a text editor. Is it now, after copying into Notepad, different? It should be the plain " (vertical). If not, delete and re-type wherever you see the sloping ". Some are vertical, some are sloping or curly. I've just copied your source code into Notepad and whereas some were sloping when I looked at the source code in Firefox, after copying into Notepad they change to teh curly sort so you need to re-type them using the vertical " above the 2 on the keyboard. Look at these:- <div id="mainContent"> <div id=”mainContent”> <div id=”leftColumn”></div> <div id=”mainColumn”></div> The first is OK but not the other three. Check elsewhere. I'm not sure if that caused IE to show the box twice, but it needs correcting as the validator says it's wrong and the sloping " can cause display problems. Save the Notepad version using Save as type All Files (*.*) [not Text Documents (*.txt)],and Encoding ANSI and upload that version. Finally, you need to insert a ; in here <p>© 2012 - Midlands Reptiles like this:- <p>© 2012 - Midlands Reptiles

Pain in the arse
That image link with the oranges isn't inside a p tag like the text above and below, what happens if you put this inside a <p>...</p> tag? <a class="group1" href="images/diet.jpg" title="A healthy diet is so important."><img class="mybackground2" src="images/dietc.jpg" alt="Fruit and vegtables"/></a>

Items displaying out of line in IE6 and IE7
Have you checked IE7? I can't see the arrows in my IE compatibility view. I still think that this needs editing for several reasons:- <h1>Treatments</h1> <ul> <h3><a name="hairremoval" id="hairremoval"></a>Hair Removal<p class="shinfo">Show/Hide Information</p></h3> <li>............ The IE stylesheets may work, but if you can get it to work in IE6 and IE7 without using IE stylesheets in conditional comments, that's a better option.

Helvetica Neue on Windows
This page https://community.openatrium.com/issues/node/172 implies that even if you could get Helvetica Neue to display on Windows it would look terrible, that's why Windows defaults to Arial. This has bugging me some time also on themes that use "Helvetica Neue". Referred to Open Atrium: I was swearing, why the small fonts were so unreadable. Then I found out that the "Helvetica Neue" was the default font. Though it is beautiful, a standard Windows installation does not have it (or am I mistaken and Vista has it?). Al least on my Windows XP machine, Helvetica Neue has heavy kerning issues. As to the small fonts in OA, they look very blurred and close to unreadable to People with less sharp Eyesight than mine, that is actually quite intact. So I changed to the ugly Arial - lo and behold, suddenly all the small fonts were clear and sharp and appear to have more contrast. So it is not a problem of color or size, but of wrongly called font. Read the comments The general consensus via google.com seems to be that any declarations of Helvetica Neue before other usable web fonts really screw some Windows users. For now, switching to Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif.

My left colum shows images and text way down low on certain browsers
The left Adder Diaries image is at the top of the left column in my IE7, IE9 and Firefox, so it seems OK. However, I ran it through this validator http://validator.w3.org/ which showed several errors Line 142, Column 13: character "”" is not allowed in the value of attribute "id" an attribute value must be a literal unless it contains only name characters<div id=”mainContent”> You have used a character that is not considered a "name character" in an attribute value. Which characters are considered "name characters" varies between the different document types, but a good rule of thumb is that unless the value contains only lower or upper case letters in the range a-z you must put quotation marks around the value. In fact, unless you have extreme file size requirements it is a very very good idea to always put quote marks around your attribute values. It is never wrong to do so, and very often it is absolutely necessary. which implies that you have use Word as a text editor or copied something from Word as the beginning and end " in id="..." which is not a normal text " but is the sloping or curly version that carries special formatting, not the vertical ". Use Notepad for coding html or Notepad++ or a special text editor. Use Notepad now to overwrite the wrong " The first error is the second time you used <div id=”content”> You should use class="..." and not use id more than once on a page. The style would be .maincontent instead of #maincontent. You also used the wrong " for <div id=”leftColumn”></div> and <div id=”mainColumn”></div> Same on the Adder-Diaries.html page.

URGENT HELP NEEDED WITH EMAIL TEMPLATE
Edit 2 Have you got too many table tags? You open one just after the body tag, close it lower don then have </td></tr> and carry on with a table that isn't open. Try deleting </table></td> </tr> about two thirds down. Edit 1, I thought that it's because you haven't got the same number of td tags in each tr tag. but you seem to have got it right. I'm mystified. You have tr tags with one td tag and another td with colspan="2" (ie three td columns) first. Next you have a tr with td colspan="3" - OK, so there should be three in every other tr tag above and below. Next tr you have td with rowspan="3" and Main Content Title td with Sidebar Headline td with rowspan="3" and "images/carr_09.png" width="18" Next tr you have images/carr_10-mid.png) and two of the rowspans from above, that counts as three tds in this tr tag Next tr you have td with Lorem ipsum/... and two of the rowspans from above, that counts as three tds in this tr tag Next tr you have td with td with td with ie three td tags in this tr.

HTML Emails
I'v ejust Googled html email spam background and the first page didn't show any likely topics about background being spam except these:- from http://www.htmlgoodies.com/beyond/css/article.php/3679231/How-to-Create-Great-HTML-Emails-with-CSS.htm from a comment by Tony http://www.campaignmonitor.com/blog/post/3170/adding-background-images-to-your-email-in-two-simple-steps/ which I don't understand, but later so I think it's pretty unlikely that one background image would be considered spam.

Items displaying out of line in IE6 and IE7
I don't think it's a case for a conditional comment for IE6 or IE7, it's just bad coding and the javascript isn't the problem as the javascript is the same for .moreinfo as for .moreinfo2 etc. I saw that IE7 dropped the Show/Hide Information from alongside Hair Removal down to alongside Half Leg Wax £9.50 on the right, which pushed the arrow down. You haven't got the markup right. You've got the </a> in the wrong place and a p tag inside the h3 tag which isn't a good idea. I edited your css file at the bottom:- #title { width: 100%; overflow: hidden; } span.shinfo {display: block; float:right; width: 200px; color:#333; font-size:14px; } .left { display: block; float: left; width: 250px; } and the markup to take the h3 above the ul tag and edited:- <h1>Treatments</h1> <h3 id="title"><a class="left" name="hairremoval" id="hairremoval">Hair Removal</a> <span class="shinfo">Show/Hide Information</span></h3> <ul> <li>Half Leg Wax £9.50 <a href="#" class="moreinfo"><img src="../images/arrowdown.png" /></a> <p class="treatmentsdropdown">For this method of hair removal I use warm roller wax, which is very effective on short and long hair. A half leg wax is the removal of hair from the knees downwards.</p></li> It floats the a tag left and the Show/Hide Information floats right inside the h3 tag which has oveflow: hidden to clear the floats. It looks the same now in IE7, IE9 and Firefox. IE6 should be OK.

Help Customising my form
There are free web form generators if you Google Free web forms, like http://www.emailmeform.com/ It won't process PHP on your computer from local files unless you have Apache Server included in WampServer 2 or XAMPP, so you may have to upload and test online (that's best for testing emails anyway as sending emails from a local form needs edits to the .htaccess file in WampServer or XAMPP).

Navbar Coding (Basic i think!?)
Every li tag has 15px padding at each side, so it will give you 15px padding at the left and right ends but twice 15px between each li tag. If you want a different padding at the left or right ends, give those li tags an extra class with a different padding-left or padding right.

Navbar Coding (Basic i think!?)
AlexsDesign said use CSS for each element. .navigationitem { float: left; padding: 0 15px; } That will place the li tags on the same line with 30px (2*15px) between them. You will need more CSS to fine tune the navbar.

Server confusion....
WP uses PHP so you need to upload to the hosting server or you can't see the page display properly, assuming that is operational although the domain name is still propagating. My hosting service (which was separate from my domain name provider) gave me a temporary IP like https://92.130.220.16:2056 to bypass the domain name like www.mydomain.com temporarily.

Target = iframe - not working in internet explorer
I've had a quick look in IE8, IE9 and Firefox at several links including Wedding Albums and I can't see any difference. Edit: IE7 is a problem - too narrow, but it's not the iframe itself, it's everything else.

Target = iframe - not working in internet explorer
Use name="ifrm" in the iframe code. Id superseded name in a lot of instances, but is still needed for iframes. Using both id="ifrm" and name="ifrm" doesn't seem to matter.

getty demand letter
If you ever get taken to court that comment above must help. You need to point getty to whoever removed the watermark. Can you still find the site that you got it from? Bookmark it. You're still guilty of copyright infringement, but it must be a defence.
