I opened a business bank account for the 2 main reasons already mentioned, easier to manage finances and it looks more professional. Having said that, I'm sure I read somewhere that "technically" it is fraud or can be viewed as money laundering if you use a personal account for business. This is for obvious reasons. I know some people pay several cheques into their personal account every week and the banks don't seem to care. I think it is only deemed as money laundering/fraud in extreme cases. Just to stress - I'm not 100% sure on this but could be worth looking in to just to be sure.

I was asked by a photographer to initially fix his site as his web designer had done a runner after a poor job of transfering the hosting. It was built using a software called "Gallery" It allows password only access to chosen albums and sale of photos too. In the end he opted for a complete redesign and I built a joomla cms site with the gallery software bridged into it. A link to this software is: http://gallery.menalto.com/ The gallery has a admin side where you can create albums, add watermarks, add shopping cart, add/edit passwords etc. There is also a forum for help and questions on there too.

You're using tables which I would move away from and use divs instead. If you're following the instructions correctly then the white box must be part of the design in the illustrator file. This could also explain why it appears to be pushing the other images away. Do you have a link to the site so we can see?

I have had the same problem. I registered but didn't even get an email to confirm this. Heard nothing since and it's been over 3 weeks now.

Hi Adam It all depends on what the file types are. How did you make them, I'd assume they are .html?

Hi kim104, Ive been working with Joomla and creating my own templates for a good while now. Mostly for other companies. I started off by editing existing templates which I purchased from http://www.joomladesigns.co.uk/ Each template has an index.php page which you can edit. Most of the editing is done in the style sheets. Did you know you can install a virtual server on your computer so you can test joomla without having to upload the files online? I used ravenswood for Joomla 1 and server2go for Joomla 1.5. Its great. You can make a change to the style sheet and see the results immediately. Sorry this hasn't been an exact help but let me know if you need anything.
