  1. Use what you feel comfortable with, at the end of the day all the skills can be transferred on whatever system you operate on. Chris
  2. If people are going to outsource their email why not just go the full way and have a whole mailbox? What advantages will this system offer? Chris

    Who is she?
  4. If I may just add my contribution to the discussion, again I'm trying to be as impartial as possible - so please ignore my affiliation with any businesses I represent. At the end of the day the old saying "you get what you pay for" really does mean a lot. For example I know Rob the other night was up at one in the morning supporting a customer. Would you get that with these cheap hosts who claim to offer unlimited services for ridiculous amounts a month? I doubt it, I can sleep well at night knowing that my sites are hosted with a supplier who has the resources to support me any time of the day, paying a higher markup doesn't bother me for this reason; it ensures that the platform is stable and I have a real number I can ring if anything goes wrong. Hopefully one day consumers will realise that unlimited doesn't mean a thing, and besides if you were using 1TB in disk space what on earth are you hosting? Chris
  5. I agree spacing is a problem on the site, maybe if you shout loud enough Rob will listen Thanks for the comments. Chris
  6. Oh you're too kind...

  8. Hi, I haven't watermarked any of my images, but I believe you can restrict the downloading of your work. Chris
  9. Both if you can afford it, I've always been a desktop man but these new Macbook are amazing! Chris
  10. How on earth did you know what Rob was talking about from his more than vague description?
  11. I'd say the majority of people that don't have a clue about the web wouldn't have noticed. My first proper host was a reseller of Heart, and I didn't think for the slightest moment that the business operation was dodgy.
  12. Thank goodness the majority of sites around now don't have music blaring out at you! Oh wait.. I've heard there's a site called YouTube, now wee can see people make fools of themselves.. oh how technology has moved on. Gotta love the net.
  13. If you have access to Dreamweaver from versions MX and above there is an option to export an image gallery, it'll create thumbnails and a load of HTML if you chose to use it. Chris
  14. Has anyone had any experience with a 200? I'm looking at replacing an EOS, what are they like in comparison to the Canon range? Thanks, Chris
  15. Really really nice compositions, #3 is my favourite.
  16. Until recently I was running Photoshop 5 I checked out the trials of newer versions and didn't see the point in upgrading? If I'm honest I couldn't notice any major differences from the tools I used in 5 compared to the latest versions. Adobe seem to upgrade 'small bits' rather than saving everything for one big release. Plus there's the cost of upgrading Chris
