Your post doesn’t really make any sense.

if you want to rank on a search engine you need to do SEO. Traffic will depend on how popular the search.

But you can get traffic from many other sources which means you may not need to do any SEO.

That being said, I can’t actually see the point of your website.

SEOis important to get a rank on a search engine. So yes it is very important. If that is absolutely not important or necessary to you, why do you have a website then?

You don't need to do SEO to generate new or returning business. There are plenty of other ways to get leads.

Agreed. But if search is the dominating channel in your industrie SEO is simply a Must Do in most cases.

No, this just means everyone else is chasing the same slice of pie.

Try doing it differently

Create good content.  Simple it will benefit SEO and people who do visit will return.  No tricks, hacks or workarounds.  Just good content (with well structured markup, mobile friendly, accessible etc)
