footer not aligning

Featured Replies

Hello again,

Can someone help me fix the alignment of the footer please?

www.poweredbysolutions.co.uk

the left column with the logo in seems to be too low. I've tried margins and padding but I just make it worse rather than better.

Can someone tell me where I'm going wrong please?

Thank you.

Looks fine to me on a desktop. Lines up with the other columns.

But do you really need it in there at all? It looks all wrong on a phone.

Thanks for checking.

No, I don't need it there. I will probably replace it with company address and registration number shortly, I was just playing around to see if volume of text was messing with the alignment.

On my laptop, the whole left column seems to be shunted down a little but if you say it looks good, I'll put it down to my eyes :)

On a phone, do you see the 3 circles that you were helping me out with earlier? one of them seems to be oval, any ideas why? They're all the same in the HTML.

Thanks,

btw you should use a proper elipsis and not three dots ;)http://htmlarrows.com/punctuation/

i.e.

and noticed a typo on the first page "
Our markets...
Powered by solutions opperate" (just the one 'p')

drop shadow on the logo is dirty and old looking :) but i do like the subtle texture in your header graphic

You can increase the logo size at footer. also social media sharing buttons are too small. Make it some large and give more highlight to it. you can define the space around your footer area content using easy CSS style coding. Use your footer's space more effectively by using various font types.

Hope it helps...

That's a great resource! thank you! I've bookmarked that for later. I'll drop the shadow :)

Hey, I implemented the changes; about the shadow, do you mean on the 3 floating icons or the powered by solutions logo?

spell check complete :)

One more thing - rather than start a new thread, I was hoping you could help with something. on the 'contact us' page (i know its horrid) I have social icons.

One of the icons on hover goes green. I can't make the rest do it. Can you suggest what I can do to fix this please?

Thanks.
