I would start a new webmaster forum for my blog site and ranking it to top search but when i check this keyword "webmaster forum", Google is getting 2 first positions (as the picture)

I don't know if i build a new webmaster forum it is possible to defeat Google on their search engine to get top 1 on Google search?

I have seen many cases like this and waiting for a valuable answer.

Google will rank the sites that best answer the search enquiry. If your forum provides better information than the Google forum and is trusted by more people than the Google forum and has more citations and so on then you will rank above the Google forum.

 

But this is unlikely without a lot of financial investment and a lot of hard work over many years.

As far as I know Google does not do any partiality in giving ranking in search engine result page. So if your content can be better than the Google's forum, of-course you can get better ranking than them.

Yes you can - but it will be very difficult, time consuming and expensive to do.

That's a good point and something I've considered a few times. If we are a webmaster as such, what is a better name to call ourselves? Author, writer, etc..?

For example, if we need an about page about ourselves on our sites. (For those of us who are only webmasters as opposed to big kahuna developers. We simply build our own sites and not for others..)

Depending on the search query it is possible to be at the top. I'm not sure if you can beat Google at their own game when it comes to the same query though, because so many people use their pages. Back in the day, I used to be at the top for `samsung galaxy note 3 roms' (plus others), but I had the passion, was doing the work, updating those pages on a weekly basis, promoting the updates on social media, and getting quite a few visitors who appreciated a unique resource. I expect many people here can relate with their own sites. Of course with a less popular niche, it's easier. If you can create a unique contribution, which people appreciate, then the rest will work automatically (with a little faith). That seems to be the way money works too (like an exchange of energy), although I've yet to master the money thing for a while. Will reply for food..

I would find another keyword to go after for a few reasons:

 

1. Though Google will pick the best page for the top, even if it's not theirs, their's happens to be the best.
2. Webmaster, as stated before, is an outdated term. What are you going for? Find a more relevant key term.

as far as you concern yes, you can rank better as compare to google website. Your website should have proper information to the user and betetr engagement on threads and better and better thread and its reply. all these thing matter if you want to replace google website. Because, for google information matter that's it.

So I should focus on my content, build quality content can defeat Google on their site?

If trying to defeat Google is your goal, then you might never be happy.

If creating content and contributing to/for others is your goal, then you might enjoy the journey more.

Then if you enjoy it so much and others appreciate your contribution, maybe you will climb the Google ranks as a natural payoff to your contributions.

Then you can be King of all that is Google.

Something like that.
