Alternative to Dreamweaver

Featured Replies

Morning!

I'm making the transition from PC to Mac and don't want to purchase a new version Dreamweaver. Can anybody recommend an alternative?

I'm more interested in the ease for coding, and the way Dreamweaver helps speed up your coding. I rarely, if ever, look at the WYSIWYG. Don't mind paying a reasonable budget cost.

Cheers

Thank you. I have over 16 years of experience in developing websites, so do not need a WYSIWYG.

I am now using Atom. Thanks Robert.

If you are use to dreamweaver i suggest brackets.io it was founded by adobe and has several features that dreamweaver has

Been using Brackets for about 18 months now, really like it!

I've got to agree that Atom is a great alternative, especially with all the plugins available including emmet.
