February 8, 201511 yr Hi, I am developing a php-mysql website hosted in an apache. The site is down since yesterday for my IP address, whereas it is visible elsewhere. The web hosting company said they do not see any problems and my IP is not blocked by them. The problem has occured before and was solved by itself after a few days. I simply do not understand the reason behind it. Annoying as I have to stop working on the site till it is restored. Please help. Cheers.
February 8, 201511 yr I would get your provider to check again, ask them to add your IP to the whitelist. Have you tried the basics such as restarting router, Clear DNS cache etc Best regards, Matthew
February 8, 201511 yr Author @ Nock: I cannot access the website with any other PC/ mobile when inside (=same ISP). But can access the site when outside (=another ISP), also is accessible if I would use 3G. So, it's definitely not with PCs or their settings. @ Jordan: Ping is fine. Tracert shows time out after the first line: 1. <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 192.168.178.12 * * * Request time out
February 8, 201511 yr Yes it appears your IP Address is blacklisted, find your IP and contact the host.
February 9, 201511 yr Author Hi, thanks for the suggestions. I contacted the host again, gave them my IP address and the Tracert output. They confirmed that the IP address is not blacklisted. Based on the Tracert results they said that: According to your tracert result it looks like the problem exist on your end. Tracert didn't go from your location. Tracert result was: 1. <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 192.168.178.12 * * * Request time out My IP is: 84.***.**.*** Any idea? Cheers.
