Nice little design you have there! I had a look and it looks ok in FF2 and safari on mac. They look a little different tho. In Safari, the body background image is at the bottom of the browser (which I suppose is what you wanted) but in FF it isn't... no big deal tho, they both look ok to me

 

On the other hand tho, you use strict DTD but you're code isn't really up to it. You can't use the "align" attribute in the page with strict html. You need to do this within your css. Also, you could cut the amount of div's you use, but again, that's up to you and not a major problem, not very semantic that's all

I am not sure if its just me but home.php only loaded the background. I tried different types of browsers but the same result. I attached a print_screen copy of the page I saw

The design of the page looks great i like the style.

 

But i think that the background image should stretch across the whole of the page.

 

Also the RSS button looks like it needs redoing because the edges are pixelated.

I am wokring on a custom user system that allows login- registeration, and me to send newsletters, RSS feeds and an electronic quote system

I like it in FF (though the BG image took a while to load... I thought it was just going to be plain black) but it's a different story in IE 6:

yeah IE6 doesn't support png transparency - I had the same rpoblem recently - try the javascript solution posted above. There is a PHP workaround as well, but I can't remember where I found that.

 

I like the design - the muted colours work really well, but I was confused as I thought the text under your logo were individual links

 - also you've spelt 'GRAPICS' wrong - you've missed the 'H' out - shoudl be 'GRAPHICS'.

 

Once I clicked through to the next page, I sat and waiting for something to load, but I guess you've not started work on that bit. I'd suggest you get you repeating graphic on the left sorted so that you don't see the joins and make it more seemless. There's a photoshop tutorial on how to do this using the offset filter that I used ages ago...I did a quick google search and found these links that might help:

Maybe that's how the cool kids are saying "graphics" now, like "graphics and pics are 'grapics', yo dawg!"
