March 4, 201412 yr Hello everybody, my name is Paul and I recently created a website about Ireland. I was happy about my webdesign when I launched it but with the time, I start to thinking the webdesign can be really better. So if you have some time and experience, could you please have a look to my website and tell me how the webdesign can be better ? http://www.vivre-en-irlande.fr Thanks in advance Paul
March 4, 201412 yr Here are some quick thoughts: 1. Go Responsive - everything seems a little cramped. On a large monitor, you can use more space, and on smaller screens you can remove things to keep the design clean and less busy. I know there is a lot going on and this may be hard, but it may help, especially with mobile visitors. Check out Bootstrap as a starter framework. 2. The "Up" button that shows up covers the content - seems like it should be farther to the right. 3. Make sure images in the posts aren't too big and have enough margins around them to breathe. 4. I like the colors, but at points, it's too much bright green. Maybe find another accent color, or incorporate more of the brown and/or orange color. 5. The background image is a litle distracting to me. Updating that to something else, or a solid color (maybe with a pattern) may help. Putting more contrast between the content and the background will direct the visitors eyes towards the middle more. Hope this helps!

For the responsive, it'll be difficult. I use a template which isn't in responsive. But I installed Wp-Touch for mobile visitor. It's better than nothing ;-) For the up button I don't know where is the problem.. I use two computer and the button is perfectly align with the wrapper-content left border. Could you send me a screenshot if you have some time ? And if you know how to fix that, don't hesistat to share it with me For the color I'll try to use less the green and try other color. And for the background image, I like it but I understand argument. Thanks again for your help ! And if other people want to comment my webdesign, don't hesitate, it will be welcomed ! PS : Sorry for my english..
