Is there any free eCommerce scripts for customers to come on and design their own banners for print?

Wondering how difficult it would be to possibly lash up something like this.

You'll be lucky to get something prewritten for free, these things tend to be custom written.

Well I've had a search and can't find one of these pre-written even for Not-free.

 

Can't be that hard to do surely.

 

Should be able to rig something up. Bit of <canvas>, touch of "contenteditable", dab of PHP and a good shake of Ajax. That might do it.

yeah been finding it hard to find it somesites use flash based ones but thats no good in my opinion.

 

Dont suppose any one has a rough price on how much this would cost.

^ you'd need to write up a complete specification to get even a rough cost, these things are often more complex than they sound.

 

1. You need to describe how the banner creator works

- do you need multiple options (eg numerous text fields, images etc)?

- how are options managed (eg can the administrator add new options)?

- do you need multiple canvas/banner sizes?

- how will the customer create/edit a banner?

- can customers save a banner?

- how is the data presented to you after ordering?

 

2. The ecommerce bit

- will the banner creator be integrated into an existing shopping cart system, or doe sit need building from scratch?
