Animating CSS

Featured Replies

I wonder if it's possible to do the animating box on the left side where it says "Interpreter Request" from pure GIF file to a CSS?? Any Advice?

if im honest that whole navigation needs to be CSS, having images for text is a bad idea for the long run.

I totally agree with you D4Y0, I didn't design the site, the previous webmaster did, and I know this is outdated, in fact I'm working on a more modern version of the site, all with CSS, and minimizing the image use. I am leaning towards using wordpress so that I can edit the pages on the fly without hand coding html and uploading them to the server.

Here's a rough version using keyframes. All prefixed for you.

Jack,

THank you for the start of this CSS image, I'll make sure you receive credit for this :-)

it's a bit close to the blink element of yesteryear (century:)) - if it's a call to action it should be taken out of the nav and shown as a button (preferably not animated ;) and positioned in a prominent place.

blinking flashing stuff is just distracting and annoying whether the client wants it or not ;)

I agree, but my bosses loves this change because it was just plain blue, and we want our clientele to easily locate the most important part of our website, because this is the majority of our business. Im looking into making this into wordpress and going from there :-)

so it IS a call to action then ;) so make it a button and pull it out of the nav and into a prominent place.

edit: then you're boss is happy, customer is happy, and i'm happy :)
