Hi, Victoria!

If you want to create a mobile site by yourself, you should learn a lot and have enough knowledge and experience in order to develop working site. Here are some tips on making a mobile-friendy website:

  1. Make sure mobile users are automatically redirected to the mobile versio of your website.
  2. Choose the foremost information to include
  3. Remember that the user must access the needed pages as quick as possible
  4. While reducing the number of pages, avoid placing too much information per page.
  5. Avoid too much text input for users.

  6. Essentially include the branding elements of your desktop site

  7. Keep in sight a link to the desktop website.

  8. Check how your website works on a number of mobile devices

Thank you so much for the Reply..

You're welcome! Hope this information will help you in the realization of your ideas.

I would say don't go to designing mobile websites rather create responsive sites where you take the approach of mobile first but the end result is a website which is responsive to all resolutions. If you are targeting mobile users only the a mobile app may be a better solution.

Today if you want to design mobile website then it is best option to go with responsive design. If you design separate website then it takes more time. Hence it is better to go with responsive design. There are several online resource and tutorials available on the web where you can get complete knowledge about how to design responsive design.

hi sir my name is muzahid hussain i m web developer in php language and i want to switch in wed designing what can i do

Welcome to the forum Muzahid. First of all, it would be best to start your own introduction in it's own thread as people aren't likely to respond on an existing one. Head on over to http://www.webdesignerforum.co.uk/forum/57-web-designer-forum-introductions/ and perhaps tell us a little about your goals in web design - ie. working for a firm/freelance, what your current skills are, etc...
