January 22, 201313 yr Hi Peeps I've just put in a order for a brand new imac desktop which comes witha 27"monitor, now even tho this is a huge high quality, i know from work experience the benefit of having a second monitor. Can anybody reccommend a good quality 2nd monitor to compliment my imac screen? And also where are the best (bargin) places to shop online/offline for 2nd screens that are good quality but cheap?
January 22, 201313 yr Get a crappy old (at least 5 years old) 17" TN panel and reset it to factory defaults. That way you'll always have a worst case scenario to test on, and it'll still be good enough to have your email client up on while you work.

February 14, 201313 yr 27" @ 1920x1080? YUCK! I agree! I love Samsung monitors and that is a fine looking one at that but 1920x1080 resolution on a 27" is just a waste! I also can't see anything about DVI slots, just HDMI and VGA.
