I think it's a pretty decent all round ecommerce site, however as with anything I think there are improvements which could be made. There's always going to be a balance of taste versus the amount of content visible on your landing page. For my taste, I found the landing page slightly overwhelming at first, but it became obvious to me that the cause of this feeling of 'woah too much info' was partially down to the readability with the grey text. At 125% zoom in Google Chrome it's perfectly legible, but at 100% zoom I found it subconsciously more annoying to read. (You could ask how I'm aware of myself becoming subconsciously annoyed if it's subconscious, but I put it down to a bit of experience!) While this is very much a taste based criticism it might be worth considering increasing the width and height of all the content by approximately 25% and commensurately reducing the width of your shadow-margins div. While you'd lose a little bit of style on the page, I think the typographic gains more than off-set that.

 

One thing I felt was missing (and this is by no means restricted to your site, it seems to be function lacking on many similar sites I've seen) is an example photo for each product showing them in situ. While any contemplative customer will have a good idea of the product dimensions that they're looking for, impulse purchasers who can't be arsed getting their measuring tapes out could be encouraged to buy your products on the basis of (e.g.) a photographed example of a poster in relation to a single bed, or a mantlepiece, or something of roughly standard size which they can visualise the product in relation to.

 

Those were the two things I felt the site would benefit from.

I think logo width is little big its taking half place in header.

Text on header right side "> add files to my order" the ">" sign not looking good replace it with some icons or u can try "»" Sign HTML code -> "»" ...

Overall all is Sweet..

Hey first thing I noticed was 'NO HIDDEN CHARGES JUST ADD VAT'

 

Which may come over as a little confusing as the visitor then has to take in the price and add 20% which they or may not be able to do. Maybe better to just quote prices from £x with VAT already added?

Your missing <h1> and <h2> tags and do not actually have a logo or company name because your logo is a CSS background.

IN your browser go to (view->page style->remove style sheet) to see what i mean, that is what search engines are going to see etc.. I would personally encase your logo in a <h1> tag.

 

Secondly, everything in the header section seems a little squished to me and the gradients on the navigation bar don't help, they make it look cheap. I reccommend making the navigation height smaller and the text in the navigation smaller and removing the gradient, give more height to the header section.

 

And your good to go.

Can i ask what font is used for prices? I like it, a lot!

The font is Vag Rounded.

 

Thanks a lot for the feedback guys, I'm going to darken up some of the text to make it more legible. It reads find on our screens, but we're on iMac's which have great contrast.

I too find the text too light and too small by default.

 

I also think that the logo could do with a makeover. Looks too simplistic for a company associated with art / design.
