I'm looking for comments on a website I've been working on over the past few days. It's for my full time job. Basically I had a year out in Australia, and in my absence my company had outsourced loads of microsites to be designed/created.

I'm really not a fan of them, so I've had a go at redoing one of them, and I'm hoping to show them in a meeting I have tomorrow.

It isn't quite finished yet, there is no call to action, no contact information etc..

Furthermore, In the latest version, which I can't upload til tomorrow, the menu is darker / legible.

Mine: http://clients.lewishill.net/knottec/

Original: http://knottec.co.uk

I'd at least like to think I've made an improvement.

Thanks for any comments.

haha yours is alot better that old design really sucks in my opion

Yes, a big improvement!

It's a good site, simple but looks nice. I think perhaps there should be more going on above the fold? There should also be a link to bring you back to the top of the page for each 'section'.
