SEO Tools

Hiya,

Is there a good, reliable free tool out there for seeing how many links in a site has?

Also, a way of checking keyword rankings, Im using CuteRank at the moment, does anyone know if it's any good?

Thanks

Gec

Google Webmaster Tools plugged into Analytics - never looked back! Shows average position, keywords, landing pages etc etc. As for back links etc use site:www.yourdomain.com on Google (or similar  ).

If you are talking about being able to see competitors' backlinks, I'd recommend SEO Spyglass then. It lists backlinks found on a particular site and provides all sorts of SEO metrics for the pages those links come from.

Yep, I would agree, SEO Spyglass is a great programme for not only showing you who your competitors link to but also which links are the best value etc. It's not the cheapest tool though but it's worth the money. Traffic travis is a little more basic than Spyglass.

I also think SEO Quake and SEO SpyGlass are the best. SEO Quake can save you a lot of hours, because it is working really fast and great.

Thanks in advance,

Install SEOquake add-on on your mozilla firefox and you can simply get the idea of number of back links of every site you open. Else you could use the Google's webmaster tool to find the number of backlinks. SEOquake is rather an easy tool to use.

Hi, I'm not sure why you marked the site content as SPAM..atleast try that tool once...you will be the FAN of it for your SEO projects..Strong report and totally free to use..Thanks.

Sigh, yet more Indian spam.

I clicked your spammy link, saw the term "Keyword density is one of the main terms in SEO", a closed the tab.

Hi, I'm not sure why you marked the site content as SPAM...

The fact that you've posted in 4 other forums with the exact same spam message makes me really not want to try "that tool"
