April 22, 200818 yr Top Ten albums: Dead Kennedy's: Fresh Fruit 4 Rotting Vegetables (Honourable Mentions to: Television, Roxy Music, Joy Division and many more). Wow Dead Kennedys good choice, I spent a happy evening trying with many others to find a back window/door to get into the Lyceum on the Strand at a sell out gig of theirs back in around 1981. Television and Joy Division as well nice.

I agree Go or Go Ahead is one of his best, but I'll always have Want Two as my favourite album. You just can't top it IMO And I was just watching that film The Aviator yesterday, and he popped up in that! Singing Judy Garland as usual!
April 22, 200818 yr did you ever get a chance to catch him in the colston hall? What a great gig. Have to say, lot of common tastes in the forum (and some definite outsider art for contrast {;P)
April 22, 200818 yr (and some definite outsider art for contrast {;P) Let's not put things in <containers> or <divs> Outsider art is often just that purely because it is so good! And in fact any self respecting music journal - NME, Mojo, Rolling Stone would place much of it high up in it's half of fame.

April 22, 200818 yr Let's not put things in <containers> or <divs> Outsider art is often just that purely because it is so good! LOL, I wasn't aiming that anywhere - but look where it landed {;P Oldskool roolz HC!! Nice selection... I had the sobering experience of being surrounded by the local "yoof" at a CSS gig in the autumn. You could see them eyeing me and my m8 warily on account of our prodigious facial (and to some extent aural) hair...gutting. And I thought I still had the magic!

May 1, 200818 yr I've been directed to this thread by Headcoat. What a great idea for a thread Dizi. I was off to the pub tonight but now I may just stay in and think of my lists!! What an eclectic taste in music we have here. Having 800 cd albums and 600 vinyl albums in my collection it may take a while for me to compile my choice!!
May 1, 200818 yr Right, the first album I have chosen to be on my list - these albums are in no particular order - is the self titled Tindersticks album from 1994. Featuring amazing songs such as City Sickness, Marbles and The Not Knowing this album became a great love of mine. John Peel was a huge fan of this band, and two songs off this album featured in the John Peel Festive Fifty for 1994. They're a great band to see live also! I'll post another favourite album tomorrow. Night all!
May 9, 200818 yr It's been a while since my last post, so here goes. My next favuorite album of all time is the self titled Stone Roses album. I never tire of listening to it and I have owned it for over 15 years!! Does anyone else love this?
