New Portfolio

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I'm currently redesigning my portfolio website and have uploaded the new version to see what people think.

WEBSITE HERE

Thanks

Adam

Nice work Adam, looks fantastic.

Only pointers would be the font colour on your inputs needs to be a bit darker and some padding on the bottom of your footer to offset it from the bottom a bit.

Really like the look of Midge McKay's site as well!

Good work. Only error I really noted was that you have the same customer quote for both work examples on the homepage.

haha that's cos i havent filled it in yet, is just a default text

That looks really nice. Well done.

Cant wait to see it working!

:D Another IMP on board here :p

(both me and rob are here already)

As for your site, tis very nice :D

Not bad mate, for some reason my eyes are drawn to the blank rectangle in the header below contact details, ha don't know why though! Definitely need deeper colour on the inputs too.

Its looks ok - something about it makes it feel more like a blog than a portfolio (I think its the layout).

As for the code, its good - but you've strayed into a bit of div-itis (using too many) for example...

<div id="mm_project_details">

   	<div id="mm_applications_used_title"><strong>Applications Used </strong></div>

       <div id="mm_client_comments_title"><strong>Client Comment's</strong></div>

You could quite easily be using the correct h2/3/4/5/6 for these 'titles'.

Nice site layout looks kinda like nettuts style for some reason maybe the blocks with a + in them and layout of the page its kinda blog wordpress looking. a few things you might want to change are as followed.

1, your image header at top has your email text in it and should be html text and clickable link.

2, your footer has 1 to many | in it. Copyright 2009 || All Rights Reserved | With Thanks to Rancio Abolengo

But other than that i like it alot ! good work...

My only comment is your colour cmyk branding thing has been done to death. Especially in Print/Graphic Design, and especially colours similar to those. Might not be such a big deal for you, really depends if you are trying to go with the flow or stand out.

Good stuff mate - on Safari, some of the titles fall apart though...
