November 23, 200718 yr I just uninstalled it. None of my extensions worked meaning I could not test it as main browser. I thought I could leave it on the system to test websites in FF3, but it broke FF2 as default browser when I clicked links in websites and emails so I had to remove it and reinstall FF2 to get it working again. Other than better CSS support I didn't notice much difference. Prolly more under the hood.

November 24, 200718 yr I wasn't expecting the plugin to work. But my problem was that it interfered with FF2 being the default browser. Firefox isn't ideal to have multiple versions of. Opera is much better at allowing multiple version installed without causing any issues.
November 25, 200718 yr I think I will wait until the official release...as much as I like to go with the new, I would rather go with a new that supports my plugins and doesn't cause problems with the more stable FF for the moment
November 25, 200718 yr I'm the same...when I first switched to FF2, some of the extensions I used everyday didn't work as they hadn't been upgraded yet and it was really annoying as I'd formed habits and had to wait for extensions to be updated.
November 25, 200718 yr Good point, TT. Same with IE, I believe, correct? Yes, But IE is by far the worst as it's rooted in the OS. With FF I can download them standalone installations. (All though, FF still wont let me run multiple versions at the same time) IE has just been a pain in the rear end. I tried that package that installs multiple versions of IE on your comp but with no great luck. They ended up crashing on me. So I ended up installing old copies of Win95/98 on VirtualPCs, so now I got IE 3 - 6 working, but with the overhead of running a whole virtual computer to do so.
November 25, 200718 yr I do actually On one of my sites; http://imageswire.com, when logged in, there are links on the right and left side of the nav bar. In FF3, all the links are just on left side... I would provide screen shots, but I uninstalled firefox 3.

November 26, 200718 yr Installed on Linux. I can't see many changes, but seeing as it runs from my ~/ folder it keeps my current FF (2.0.0. intact and working. I don't use many plugins, apart from the web developer toolbar, so Its not a problem for me... no doubt the stability will be reduced

Also, I don't have any other public examples becuase I did uninstall firefox.
