ftp software

Featured Replies

Cute ftp's pretty good. Just make sure it cute and not core... core ftp is just buggy, but it's free i think :D

I used to like SmartFTP but you have to pay for it now. FileZilla (I think) is currently the most popular free one at the minute.

For mac Cyberduck or Coda and for Windows FileZilla

I too use cute ftp.....only because that is the one i was taught on and I'm too lazy to change :D

That page is about WS_FTP, which isn't free.... so I'm not sure why you're considering that one.

Neither is CuteFTP (though it is quite good).

Filezilla (the other one recommended by several posters) is completely free.

what ftp software is best? cheers

I think you can get cute ftp free, just search it, but I use coffecup.com's ftp... in fact, they

have a whole slew of great products you should check out! :) g

I use Wise FTP - I like the functionality, and left alone, it can cope with massive uploads, but it is an absolute bugger for crashing and not responding.

WiseFTP - never had problems. Regular free updates too.
