Text to use one a Site

Featured Replies

What text do you prefer to see on a website,

Like Arial, Comic sans, Times New Roman.

I've also forgot how to implement it in CSS, can someone remind me please, clumsy i know :|

Many Thanks Ben

I believe Comic sans is a no no ;)

CSS

body {

font-family: arial;

}

Is that what u wanted?

for a second there I thought you said that you liked comic sans, that would be scary.

This is how you would call a font in css

font-family: Arial, sans-serif;

you could add more if you wanted, the first one is the one it will use, and then if it can't find it it moves onto the next one in the list, so it is always good even if it is a web safe font to add either sans-serif or serif at the end so that it will still show a font in the style you are looking for.

ohhh and my favourite web safe font is Century Gothic :)

After I reread it I thought it was just an example, but the first time I saw it I thought it said I like...which scared me.

And thank you, couple you please tell one of my clients that as they don't think I do :)

...and what's wrong with Comic-Sans? Surely it would have some suitable uses!

i find tahoma is a very legible font

Try to use Times New Roman in just the body of the text and pick another font, like Arial, for the main headings and titles.

I love Georgia and Kabel fonts.

I also prefer to comic sans ms font. I like this font most.

To implement with font in css a eg. is given below:--

<html>

<head>

<style type="text/css">

h1 {font-style: italic}

h2 {font-style: normal}

p {font-style: oblique}

</style>

</head>

<body>

<h1>This is header 1</h1>

<h2>This is header 2</h2>

<p>This is a paragraph</p>

</body>

</html>
