Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum, i'm currently looking for extra work as a web designer, so i've launched this website. I'm basically trying to look as professional as i can, but just looking for some nice easy website work I can do from home to make a little extra cash! I currently work as a designer, and that's my main expertise, but i've also been building websites for a couple of years.

Yea that's very good. I probably wouldn't have used flash for the menu but other that that it works really well.

pretty swish, but I think you could lose the 1pixel borders

love big fonts! very trendy....over all looks nice, think logo could be better ....but dude! I love that contact form!

Nice site, although i feel a bit to much flash I can barely see a thing without flash and can't navigate.

Thanks for the comments. I thought I would be OK using flash for the navigation as I have also included a secondary text navigation in the footer, are you struggling to use this because it's at the bottom of the page?

 

How do you mean you can barely see a thing without flash? I have HTML coded all the body text of the site, the only things that are flash are the header, main navigation and a couple of prices on the home page, which i also duplicate in my body text.

I've just used simple form HTML code and then styled it with CSS, nothing that fancy really.

I didn't see any flash so I presume you removed the swf?

 

What are you using HTML headings for most of the copy text on your home page?
