  1. Your navigation could probably be a little more prominent. It does what its supposed to do and by keeping it minimal your focusing completely on the images, which is great. If you want to make it more professional i would personally remove the yellow lines and be abit more creative - perhaps a thin line with a drop shadow - a suttle way seperate the images. Why not add a light - not too overwhelming - textured background? Would bring the blog more to life and give it more of a personality... Hope this helps
  2. You need to really think about displaying your products visually more interesting. I would have thought this would be the most important on a site like this.
  3. This is something different to what i normally do.. abit more 'creative' if you will. Would be great to see what you guys think. Any suggestions for improvement? CLICK HERE Thanks in advance.
  4. First reaction is 'text overload' and there isn't much space. Everything is cramped up. Try using some white space, how about adding more line space? You should think about using the orange for a 'highlight' only, right now all your orange links are telling the user 'look at me!!' 'look at me!!'. Use it in some places, and the important places (where you want the user to be drawn to) hope any of that helps!
  5. Home page is really nice. Subtle and colourful. However not too keen on inside, simply because i expected more after seeing your home. I really dont think you need 'Pull Me' its obvious enough, if you must have something simply have 'Scroll' (your not really pulling are you?) Your work you are show casing is really small in my opinion and the website around it because your work look small and therefore 'not very important'.
  6. generally ok. The home page, if you were to remove the images, the site is just really black and white, not very nice. Colour would help stand out alot more, especially since its the first page the user see's.

Would there be a way to preload sIFR ? So the 'non-sIFR' text doesn't show up at all... My link

  10. Thanks, CSS Sprites may not be such a bad idea in this case.
  11. thanks for the comments, any other opinions?
  12. Your right, thanks but as the site grows, there will be lots of hover state images.
  13. thanks for the suggestion... but with over 100 images it will be a very very long list
  14. thanks for your reply - I guess you have a point about the black & brown, will look into it.
  15. trying to sort that! not easy when you have 10+ js files :-(
  16. Hi all, I havn't been around in a while, been really busy, especially with my new site. Its heavy sifr based, and if you havn't got either flash or java script enabled the site should just look like a real mess! (the punishment for working with sifr) Any how, let me know what you web specialists think... Thanks in advance CLICK HERE
  17. Hi Severre I'm not sure im seeing correctly. You have 3 blocks on a grey background. Thats it. I dont know what kind of feedback you want, there is nothing on the page to give you a suggestion. I'm not sure why other users are telling you to learn css when obviously you need to start at the beginning - design.
  18. The bottom one hands down. The dark background brings the canvas to life and help stand out alot more...
  19. Doesnt exactly scream 'amazing'! Just very very simple!
  20. The transition of images in the middle is smooth. I like the hover over both panels (left & right) However everything looks pixelated and the bright blue lines around all boxes is way too strong...
  21. Simple & very classy. The logo is cool. Your fades when you move pages is not very smooth. One main problem id hav with this site is the navigation. The 'glamour, portrait...' top right looks like the navigation but isnt. Your current navigation is too hard to see and really should be placed at the top. Like it in general.
  22. thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately this hasnt worked
