Minimalist is great for 'arty' sites like yours. One thing I would definately change though is the yellow post seperators; they look really out of place in that layout.

 

Apart from that, it's nice!

maybe change the divider to a shade of grey. otherwise I like it.

This is good work. Keep it exactly as it is

Your navigation could probably be a little more prominent.

 

It does what its supposed to do and by keeping it minimal your focusing completely on the images, which is great.

 

If you want to make it more professional i would personally remove the yellow lines and be abit more creative - perhaps a thin line with a drop shadow - a suttle way seperate the images.

 

Why not add a light - not too overwhelming - textured background? Would bring the blog more to life and give it more of a personality...

HI Changing the yellow dividers between the pictures, would make the image stand out more, as the yellow dividers are more brighter then the images, everything else looks nice and simple. Sweet.
